TRI-S wires are made of stainless steel strip and are designed for open-arc, gas-less welding of stainless steels.
All TRI-S wires have higher tensile strengths than the AWS/DIN/BS standards for the equivalent weld metal or base metal. The deposition rate (kg/hr) of TRI-S wires is greater than any other wires or electrodes at the same current levels because of:
	a) Higher burn-off rate, and b) A much higher arcing-time per shift as compared to other available products
These wires are available in all the commonly used grades, viz., 307L, 308L, 316L, 309L, 309MoL, etc. “Welding Alloys” can also manufacture wires for any specific alloys required by you.
CHROMECORE Range of 300, 400 & 500 Series of Stainless cladding wires
These are available in the ferritic-martensitic (400 & 500 Series) as well as Austenitic (300 Series) grades. The 400 Series wires are widely used in the steel industry, particularly for rebuilding hot strip mill rolls and continuous casting mill rolls. Welding Alloys also have in their range the patented Nitrogen-bearing wires used in the rebuilding of Concast rolls in the steel industry. They are also extensively used in the valve industry for single-run cladding of valve-body seat-rings to achieve hardness values in the range 250-300 HB and more. The Chromecore 300 Series wires are used for overlaying and for depositing buffer layers while rebuilding worn out components in steel and mining industry. Welding Alloys can also manufacture wires for any specific alloys required by you. Chromecore wires are made in gas-shielded, open arc (gas-less) as well as in submerged arc versions.
